Back to Canada after my trip to Praha. I didn’t expect to received the experience of rediscovery of myself which I ended up having.
There is a part of me that often feels different and out of place and I realized that it is partly due to my Czech upbringing, it creates a little rebel inside of me. A part of me undeniably belongs to the European continent and I felt at ease amongst the stinging nettles and cobblestone streets.
I don’t know what it will mean for my life now, but I feel like a tiny piece of myself was handed back to me, a jewel which I now hold close. It feels precious and I’m not certain yet what to do with it.
